The USDA has made a YouTube video about the Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) process. In the video, a shopper takes us through a grocery store and explains how COOL works in the produce, meat and seafood departments. The shopper also covers what types of products and stores are exempt from COOL.
Shoppers can always look for the “Fresh from Florida” logo to know they are getting the best Florida has to offer. This logo tells consumers a product is from Florida and that the producer has gone the extra mile in the information labeling process.
