Live from TPIE – Part 1

January 15, 2009

Yolanda and I are at the Tropical Plant Industry Exhibition in Ft. Lauderdale.  This show is hosted by the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association.  The tropical plants are amazing!  Imagine walking inside a large building but surrounded by foliage, from small landscape plants to palm trees.

Just across the aisle from us is Boynton Botanicals, a member of FAPC.  We are in booth #1806, so if you are exhibiting at or planning on attending the show, please stop by and say “hey.”

Today is the first of three days of the show, so we are getting our bearings and meeting with people from all over Florida, the country, and the world (we just met a very nice family from Sweden!)  We’ll update our TPIE experiences daily, so if you have questions between now and Saturday, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Have you seen any edible flowers or orchids? I love to use them as garnish!
