Represent your Agri-Business in a Photo

Have you seen a picture of a crop, a field or a product that captures your attention and inspires you because it represents the reality of its beauty, resembles the essence of a daily activity or depicts the theme behind the product?  This is exactly what we’re looking for.

Come on, give us your best shot! The Division of Marketing and Development is running the Fresh from Florida Photo Contest. Take photos of daily agricultural business activities for a chance to be published in our “Fresh from Florida” Magazine, internet promotions, exhibits, marketing ads or promotional materials.  Whether you capture crops in the field, commodities being harvested or food products on display, send us your most creative photos.

Three winners will be chosen:

1st Place :  Half page ad in our “Fresh from Florida” Magazine ($460 value)

2nd Place:  Quarter page ad in our “Fresh from Florida” Magazine  ($255 value)  OR  a customized recipe using your product created by our Executive Chef featured in the “Fresh from Florida” magazine

3rd Place:   “Fresh from Florida” Gift Bag

Deadline

  • All photos must be received by March 1, 2009.
  • Winners will be announced on March 8, 2009.

The “Fresh from Florida” Magazine has 10,000 print issues circulation and is distributed domestically and internationally to retailers, shippers, brokers, wholesalers, suppliers, small businesses, distributors, specialty product buyers, seafood vendors, and nurseries, with special distribution at the Produce Marketing Association (PMA) Fresh Summit Event and Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) trade show in Canada.
