Zellwood Sweet Corn Festival is Back
When I was a child, we used to go to the Zellwood Sweet Corn Festival, and I loved it! It was a great way to spend the day with family and friends, all while celebrating Florida’s delicious Zellwood Sweet Corn.
The 2011 festival will be held May 14 & 15 in, of all places, Zellwood. In addition to fresh sweet corn, vendors will be on hand selling a variety of festival treats. Festival goers will have other attractions like an arts & crafts fair, carnival rides and singers to entertain them throughout the two days.
Festival tickets cost $12 at the gate 0r $10 in advance (available at a few businesses in Apopka, DeLand, Tangerine, Zellwood and Mount Dora). A new VIP ticket costs $25 and it includes premium seating during the concerts. Ride wrist bands are $12 in advance and $15 at the event.
