Job Title: Development Representative I
Hometown: Rio Grande, Puerto Rico
Education: Florida State University, Masters Degree International Affairs
What I do at my job: Like my colleagues, I have a variety of amusing tasks. I am the coordinator of the Hispanic campaign and Spanish advertising for the Department. I also manage the Hispanic retail promotion programs in Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean; I’m one of the project editors for the Fresh from Florida magazine; work with the horticulture, Christmas trees and tropical fruit industries in addition to promote Florida agricultural producers and commodities internationally through the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) trade missions. I separate my “relaxation time” to write about my favorite agriculture themes on this blog, plus I like to help on anything else that needs to be done. In other words, I LOVE MY JOB.
